This clock has been made in the Empire style. The scene is taken from Greek mythology.

The sculptural composition presents the following scene: After a recent victory Athena is sitting solemnly on the pedestal, which is being carried by the Caryatids. In one hand she has a spear and in the other a shield. Lying at Athena’s feet is the Golden Fleece. In this case the Golden Fleece symbolizes prosperity, the spear and shield — victory and power, the owl crowning the helmet — wisdom and justice.

8-day solid brass “bim-bam” movement, which indicates the time of the hour by striking the number of hours and a passing strike on the half hour.

L1/1007 — the base is made from a gemstone, the front is decorated with bronze elements — the symbols of battles and victories (crossed torches, helmets, swords and laurel branches).
